Bill Weaver - First Vice-President

Bill Weaver, who owns the Sugar Bowl on Lincoln Way and Victorian Reflections and Flowers across the street, agreed with the change in attitude especially in the downtown area where his shops are located just east of Erie Avenue.

“Our little town [has come back to life] and the people who own Massillon shops have really stepped up with little breweries, a new comedy club and [folks] hopping between businesses," Weaver said. "It is nice to see people visiting downtown establishments."

Weaver, a 1975 Massillon Washington High graduate always, wanted to own his own business so he started a catering business a year after graduation and estimates he and Gene Stine catered 3,000 weddings, plus banquets.

He opened Victorian Reflections and Flowers 15 years ago. Three years ago, he re-opened the Sugar Bowl, which closed in 2022. It had been a hangout for Weaver and friends while in high school.
